Christy Lynn Trimmer, 66, of Washington Court House, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 3:59 p.m. at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe where she had been a patient since Tuesday following a sudden illness.
Christy was born December 2, 1955, in Elmhurst, IL to Rupert (Earl) and Norma Kemble Timmons. She was a graduate of Glen Hard South High School in Glen Ellyn, IL and attended classes at the DuPage County Community College.
Her grandfather was a Baptist minister from whom she developed a deep faith of the Holy Trinity. Christy looked forward to her twice weekly gatherings with valued friends. Her hobbies included quilting, creating silver and copper jewelry, exploring family genealogy then compiling individual scrapbooks, reading classic and contemporary British mysteries genre, identifying songbirds, and viewing celestial phenomena.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a toddler daughter, Huntre Anne and a son, Thomas A. Trimmer, Jr. (325th Airborne infantry).
Christy is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Thomas A. Trimmer whom she married January 19, 1983; her children, Britton Trimmer, Christian Trimmer (John), Rebecca Trimmer and Logan Trimmer and siblings, Don Timmons (Joy), Becky Koehnen (Mike), Carol Erickson (Brian), Greg Timmons and Brian Timmons (Nancy).
In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place and a private family memorial service will follow in the future.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House.
