Byron Robert Stinson, 39, of the Dogtown, Ross County, Ohio community, passed away Monday, September 7, 2026, at his home. His death was sudden and unexpected.
Byron was born on February 9, 1987, in Washington Court House, Ohio to Manly and Teresa Marie Brandt Stinson. He was a 2005 graduate of Adena High School/Pickaway Ross CTC and was a lifelong resident of Ross County.
He was preceded in death by his mother on February 2, 2011; maternal grandparents, Robert and Jeanette Brandt; paternal grandparents, Dr. Byron and Eleanor Stinson; aunts, Melany Newby, Bethany Stevenson and Mary (Tim) Brandt Martin and uncles, Richard Stinson and Dr. John Stevenson.
Byron is survived by a son, Asher Byron Stinson of Greenfield; his father, Manly Stinson and his wife, Connie, of Frankfort; a brother, Brandt (Kristin) Stinson of Washington Court House; a sister, Rachel (Steve) Greene of Clarksburg; an aunt, Cindy (Russ) Poole of Frederick, MD; uncles, Steve Brandt of Destin, FL and Dr. Robert Brandt of Dayton, OH; nieces, Audrey and Stella Stinson and several cousins.
Cremation will be observed and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House.
