Robert Joshua (Rob) Gordon, 51, of Washington Court House, Ohio died Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Doctor’s Hospital in Columbus where he had been a patient one day.
Rob was born September 23, 1973, in Washington Court House, Ohio to Robert Paul and Roni Kay Roberds Gordon. He was a 1994 graduate of Washington High School and was a lifelong resident of this community.
He was a concrete finisher.
Ron was an avid NASCAR fan and loved his dog, Sadie.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert P. Gordon; his stepfather, Bill Terry and his grandfather, James Roberds.
Rob is survived by his wife, the former Joanna Lynn Welsh whom he married November 11, 1995; four children, Zachary (Macey) Gordon of Fort Campbell, KY, Alexander (Gabrielle) Gordon of Washington Court House, Sydney (Chris) Cole of Canal Winchester and Ethan Gordon of Washington Court House; two grandchildren, Violet and Asher Gordon; his mother Roni Terry of Washington Court House, two brothers, Adam Buck of Oak Harbor and Dustin (Christina) Gordon of Washington Court House; a sister, Risa (Chris) Price of New Vienna and his grandmother, Betty (Dean) Hawk, of Sabina.
A visitation will be held Sunday, February 2, 2025, from 1-3 p.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House. Cremation will follow the visitation. There will be no service.
