Nancy Jane Scott, 82, of Washington Court House, Ohio died Monday, January 20, 2025, at 3:46 p.m. at the Cedarvale Commons Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Washington Court House where she had been residing since July 3, 2024.
Nancy was born March 22, 1942, in Washington Court House, Ohio to William Thomas and Celestia Cleora Speakman Scott. She was a lifelong resident of this community.
She was a member of the South Side Church of Christ and had been a volunteer at Court House Manor.
Nancy was preceded in death by six brothers, Ronald, Carl, Thomas, Raymond, Glenn and Mark Scott.
She is survived by two sisters, Betty Shears and Janice Scott, both of Washington Court House and several nieces and nephews including her special caregiver and niece, Celestia Sykes.
A visitation will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 2-3 p.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House. There will be no service.
Following cremation, private burial of the cremains will take place in the Washington Cemetery.
