Kenneth Joseph Pauly, 78, of Washington Court House, Ohio died Friday, March 10, 2023, at 11:02 a.m. at his home. He had been ill three months.
Kenny was born April 24, 1944, in Ashland, Ohio to Edward and Clara Cantleberry Pauly. He was a 1962 graduate of Ashland High School and lived most of his life in Ashland and Mansfield. He had lived in Washington Court House, spending the winters in Florida, the past 13 years.
He had formerly farmed with his father and later was a truck driver for 12 years. For the past 13 years, he had been assisting Garth Hynes with his farming operation.
Kenny attended the Fayette Bible Church and had served in the Ohio National Guard. He enjoyed painting while in Florida and loved spending time with his dogs, especially during their early morning walks.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dave Pauly.
Kenny is survived by his wife, the former Bonnie Jean Cole, whom he married February 1, 1968; a daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Joe Garland of Washington Court House; a son, Kenny R. Pauly and his partner, Maryann, of Columbus; three grandchildren, Kendra Pauly and Edward Pauly and Katherine Hynes and two brothers, Larry Pauly of South Carolina and Phil Pauly of Ashland.
At his request, cremation has taken place.
A celebration of life service and a luncheon, for family and friends, will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 1 p.m. at the home of Teresa Garland, 2720 Bunker Hill-Glendon Road-SW, Washington Court House.
