Jerry Lewis Shepherd, 70, of Washington Court House, Ohio died Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 5:42 a.m. at Signature HealthCARE of Fayette County where he had been residing the past five months.
He was born October 16, 1951, in Columbus, Ohio to Merle D. and Anna L. Miller Shepherd.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Lewis Shepherd, Jr. on June 7, 2012.
Jerry is survived by his wife, the former Betty Geraldine Hill whom he married November 23, 1975; a daughter, Melissa Frisbie of Washington Court House; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a brother, Lawrence Shepherd of Piketon, Ohio and a sister, Rebop Mernihand of Tennessee.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House.
