(Larry) Keith Self, 49, of Farmington, WV, died Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 10:50 a.m. at the J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV where he had been a patient July 17. He had been ill the past month, but his death was sudden and unexpected.
Keith was born March 9, 1977, in Washington Court House, Ohio to Larry Dean and Jana Llucille Miller Self. He was a 1995 graduate of Waverly High School and attended The Ohio State University. He had been living in Farmington since 2000.
He was a manager of a family-owned grocery store in Farmington, WV.
Keith was a sports fan and followed West Virginia sports but was an avid follower of the Ohio State Buckeyes. He was also a Chicago Cubs fan.
He was preceded in death by his father on January 5, 2026, and his companion of 24-years, Michael Angelucci, II on January 20, 2025.
Keith is survived by his mother, Jana L. Self; a brother, Kevin Self of Chillicothe; Michael Angelcucci Sr. and Melissa Angelucci and their families and Bill Sowash and his family. Also surviving his is canine companion, Henry.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at the High Top Cemetery in Highland County, Ohio with Bill Sowash officiating.
Friends may call at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House from Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

You were the best friend a girl could ever have. We had so many laughs and adventures together. We went thru good times and bad. And no matter what, you never changed. 30 plus years of you being my go to person. I am proud of the man you became and all the things you accomplished. But mostly I am proud that you just stayed you. I am going to miss you so much. I don’t know how I’m gonna get thru the rest of my life without you. Not goodbye, see you later. I love you.
