Tracy Lynn Redding, 50, of Chillicothe, Ohio died Thursday, September 22, 2022, at 5:42 p.m. at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe where he had been a patient two weeks.
Tracy was born February 14, 1972, in Washington Court House, Ohio to Clark Ray and Susan Elaine Shepherd Redding. He lived most of his life in Pickaway and Ross Counties.
He formerly was a packer at Doane’s in Washington Court House.
Tracy attended the Church of God and the Landmark Church, both in Chillicothe. He enjoyed fishing and was a loyal Michigan fan.
He was preceded in death by his best friend, Johnny Stevens, this past January.
Tracy is survived by his wife, the former Angela Lee Colburn whom he married May 27, 1995; a daughter, Joy Angel Redding and her boyfriend, Cody Quincel; a son, Micah Christian Redding; four grandchildren, Layla Redding, Landon, Liam and Lila Quincel, all of Chillicothe; his parents, Clark and Susan Redding of Atlanta, OH, three siblings, Clark R. Redding, Jr., Thelma E. Redding and Stacy Redding and his wife, Stacy, all of Atlanta, OH; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gerold and Janet Colburn of Chillicothe and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral will be Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 1 p.m. at the New Holland Church of Christ in Christian Union with Budd Faulkner, minister at the Landmark Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Waterloo Cemetery at Pancoastburg, Ohio.
Friends may call at the church from 11 a.m. Tuesday until time of the service.
