LOUISE PETERS CRUSE

Louise Peters Cruse, 81, of Washington Court House, Ohio died Friday, March 1, 2024, at 6:34 a.m. at her residence.

Louise was born December 19, 1942, in Mount Vernon, Ohio to Joshua and Ora Edith Everhart Peters.  She was a 1960 graduate of Washington High School and lived most of her life in this community.

Before her retirement, she had been a quality assurance employee at Calmar in Washington Court House for over 25 years.

On March 15, 1961, she married Clarence Lee Cruse.  He preceded her in death on June 16, 2019.  She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carmen Lorraine Cruse Daily, on July 21, 2015; two brothers, Lawrence (Butch) Peters and Elmer Junior Peters and four sisters, Donna and Ruth Peters, Genevieve Smith and Barbara Rhoads.

She is survived by three children and their spouses, Clifford Lee and Marti Cruse of Jacksonville, FL, Christopher Lyn and Nola Cruse of Washington Court House and Crystal Louise and Troy Monroe of Washington Court House; ten grandchildren, Candace (Jason) Daugherty, Carrie (James) Shephard, Cameron Cruse, Chadd (Gabrielle) Cruse, Coty (Stefane) Cruse, Zachary (Mackenzie Bowes) Monroe, Caitlyn Cruse, Joshua (Hannah Caldwell) Monroe, Betsy (Tommy Jenkins) Daily and Curtis (Jessica) Conley, Jr.; 15 great grandchildren, Chase, Aliyah and Asher Daugherty, Hayden Mercer, Devin and Marina Shephard, Emerick and Isabelle Jenkins, Elijah Hall, MacKenzie, Emma, Eleanor and Madline Cruse, Lucian Conley and Madison Gregg; a brother, John Peters of Springfield, Ohio; a sister, Joan Bills of Washington Court House and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The funeral will be Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 1 p.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House with Christopher Conley, pastor at the Harvest Life Assemblies of God Church, and Randy Lee, pastor at Center Christian Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of the service.
