Judith Elva “Julie” Dean, 52, of Sabina, Ohio died Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at 3:09 p.m. at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus where she had been a patient since October 8.
Julie was born in March 24, 1969, in Washington Court House, Ohio to Robert Edwin and Sarah Patricia Shirey Dean. She was a 1987 graduate of Washington High School and received an associate degree from Southern State Community College.
She formerly had worked 19 years at YUSA Corporation and later at McKesson Corporation. She currently was employed by the Clinton County Community Action working in the head start program.
Julie attended the South Side Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her father on December 19, 1979; by her mother on October17, 2012, and two sisters, Sarah Leisure and Nola Dean.
Julie is survived by her longtime partner, Chris Bloch of Sabina; a son, Cameron N. Bloch of Sabina and his girlfriend, Courtney Graves; a daughter, Kelcee Bloch of Wilmington; a granddaughter, Myia Spurlock, two brothers, Mark Dean of Washington Court House and John Dean and his wife, Dena, of Indian Lake; a sister, Meg Cruea her husband, Mike, of Daytona Beach, FL; a brother-in-law, Darrell “Dink” Leisure of Williamsport; several nieces and nephews and many friends including the “Girls Gang.”
The funeral will be Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 6 p.m. at the South Side Church of Christ with Todd Maurer, connections minister at the church, officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
Friends may call at the church Tuesday from 4 p.m. until time of the service.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House.
