Franklin Glenn Evans, 89, of Washington Court House, Ohio died Friday, October 27, 2023, at 5:30 a.m. at Signature HealthCARE of Fayette County where he had been residing since June 1, 2023.
Frank was born February 22,1934, in Portsmouth, Ohio to Herman and Jennie Scott Evans. He lived most of his life in Columbus before moving to Washington Court House in 2002.
He was a commercial loan administrator at National City Bank in Columbus for 35 years before his retirement in 1997.
Frank served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
On May 29, 1965, he married the former (Wanda) June Bailey. She preceded him in death on June 6, 2007. He was also preceded by a brother and sister-in-law, Russell and Ernestine Evans.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews including Jana Self and her husband, Larry, of Chillicothe.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at 2 p.m. at the Hightop Cemetery at Samantha in Highland County. Burial will be under the direction of the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House.
There will be no calling hours.
