Rayetta Siniff, 76, of Washington Court House, Ohio died Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 10:05 p.m. at the Soin Medical Center in Bevercreek, Ohio where she had been a patient since March 5.

Rayetta was born August 19, 1949, in Crum, WV, to Ray Copley and Eulah Evans Prince.  She moved to Ohio in 1987, from Crum.

She formerly was a press operator at Crown Auto Top and retired in 2008, as a supervisor at Advance Auto Parts.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Siniff on February 5, 2019; a son, Freddie Marcum on December 12, 2012, and two sisters, Freda Perry and her husband, Lonnie, and Audra Mae Maynard.

Rayetta is survived by two children, Larry Marcus and his wife, Crissy, of Bloomingburg and Freda Grooms and her husband, Doug, of Jamestown, OH; a step-son, James Hinkle of Point Pleasant, WV; seven grandchildren, Larissa Marcum, Derrick (Lydia) Marcum, Justin (Mallori) Hinkle, Caressa (Justin) Honeycut, Shawnetta (Jamie) Miller, Freddie (Olivia) Marcum, Jr. and Brianna (Jeff) Shelton; eight great grandchildren, Keegan, Jamison, Kohen, Lynley and  Deacon Marcum, Remi, Gemma and Justin Hinkle and several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Carolee Copley.

The funeral will be held Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 1 p.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House with Mike Henry, pastor at the Sugar Creek Baptist Church, officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bloomingburg Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service.
