Wanda Hall Robinson, 95, of Washington Court House, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 3:39 p.m. at Carriage Court Assisted Living in Washington Court House where she had been residing for the past two months.
Wanda was born on the family farm near Greenfield on August 17, 1929, to the late Elijah and Josephine Morrow Hall. She was a 1947 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School in Greenfield where she was the 1946 homecoming queen.
She married Edward Lee Robinson on April 14, 1949, at the Greenfield Presbyterian Church. Wanda worked at The Ohio State University as a secretary, as her husband completed his PhD studies. She made a home in seven states, found a church to attend, a library for her children and taught Sunday school and vacation Bible school in every state she lived. When her children were nearly grown, she began working as a secretary for the United States Department of Agriculture in Mississippi and Georgia. She retired, with her husband, to Washington Court House where she helped her sisters care for their mother and father until their deaths.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband on August 19, 2003; by her parents; two brothers, William and Richard Hall and two sisters, Joellen Uhl and Mildred Ellett.
She Is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and Greg Whitaker of Blackey, KY and Anne and William Quinn of Washington Court House; a step grandson, Brian Quinn and his wife, Kyla; two sisters, Jane Hall Beatty and her husband, Bill and Judith Fabb, all of Washington Court House and many nieces and nephews.
Her life was full of joy and selflessness, and she left the world a better place.
A private graveside service will be held at the Greenfield Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Brand, pastor at the First Presbyterian Church in Washington Court House, officiating. Burial will be under the direction of the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House.

Richard William “Dobie” Allen, 66, of New Holland, Ohio died Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 12:11 p.m. shortly after arrival at the Adena Fayette Medical Center in Washington Court House. He had been in failing health but his death was sudden and unexpected.
