Donald Thomas “Turkey” Morrow, 69, of Fayette County, Ohio, died Sunday, April 5, 2026, at 10:19 p.m. at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus where he had been a patient since April 2.
Turkey was born August 29, 1956, in Fayette County Ohio to Harold Eugene and Norma Jane Hamilton Morrow. He was a 1974 graduate of Miami Trace High School and, except while away for work, was a lifelong resident of this community.
Before his retirement, he was a superintendent for Spinello Pipeline Rehabilitation and Construction.
He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and boating. He was a strong supporter of 4-H and was a member of Washington Lodge #129 of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks.
Turkey was preceded in death by his mother in 2023, his father in 2004.
He is survived by a son, Joshua R. Morrow of Fayette County; four siblings, Ed Morrow of Columbus, Mike Morrow and his wife, Karen, of Columbus, Diane Skinner and her husband, Vic, of Clarksburg and his twin brother, David Morrow and his wife, Karen, of Washington Court House; his lifelong friend, Gary Mossbarger; his canine companion, Buster, and several cousins, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 1 p.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in New Holland with Terry Martindale officiating. Burial will follow in the New Holland Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home in New Holland on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
