Jeanette Ann Somers, 83, of New Holland, Ohio died Friday, September 26, 2025, at 9:40 a.m. at Wyngate Senior Living in Circleville where she had been residing since January 15, 2024.
Jeanette was born September 26, 1942, in Circleville, Ohio to Harvey and Margaret Butler Brigner. She was a 1960 graduate of Monroe High School in Pickaway County and lived her early life in the Five Points community, but she spent most of her life in the New Holland community.
Before her retirement, she was co-owner and operator of Three Moms Catering. She took great pride in being a farm wife and was well known for her cooking and baking, especially her pies.
She was a member of the New Holland Methodist Church.
On July 1,1961, she married Richard Wayne Somers. He preceded her in death on May 25, 2017.
She is survived by three children, Sheri Gray and her husband, Richard, of New Holland, Missy Gulick and her husband, Jeff, of Lafayette, IN and Randy Somers and his wife, Deanna of Lithopolis, OH; six grandchildren, Bryan (Alyssa) Gray, Tyler (Kammi) Gray and Emily (Billy) Fusiek, Courtney Gulick, Corinne and Sydney Somers; eight great grandchildren, William, Ava and Bryson Fusiek. Samantha, Emma, Hannah, Scarlett and Penny Gray and a brother, Jerry Brigner and his wife, Linda, of Dublin, Ohio.
The funeral will be Friday, October 3, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in New Holland with the Rev. Alex Feldman, pastor at the Lithopolis United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in New Holland Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home in New Holland from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday.

Alan LeRoy Tapp, born on December 5, 1939, in Austin, MN, peacefully departed this life on August 23, 2025, at Court House Manor Nursing Home in Washington Court House, OH. Nicknamed “Gopher” for coming from Minnesota, Alan is remembered for his warm smile and ability to bring a smile to the faces of others.
A memorial service for Mary Ann (Mossbarger) Summers, 75, of Versailles, KY, will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 2-4 p.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House. A brief time of remembrance will be held at 2:45 p.m.
