Sorry to hear of his passing. Such a likable guy. Rest in peace.
This is so hard to hear. Brent was so incredibly nice to me when I started working at Belcan. We enjoyed talking about all the times kids would sit on his lap thinking he was Santa Clause. I also made a Belcan badge to wear that said he was “Santa”, Chris Kringle. He always made time for me when I had a question or issue that needed attention. I drive past his house everyday going to work. I once told him, before I knew it was his house, that I saw a man outside in a red hawaiian shirt, red shorts and a straw hat riding a red tractor mower on my way to work. “It looked just like Santa mowing his lawn!” He asked me which street it was, and proudly stated “That was ME!” That made my day. I blew my horn every day after that just to say hi.
This wonderful man will be truly missed by me. I am sorry I didn’t know about his passing until now. My prayers to your family. I am sure he is looking down and smiling at all his family and friends saying he is doing just fine.
Love ya Brent ~ Sherie
I’m heartbroken. Brent was a good friend and mentor. Till we meet again, my friend. My condolences to the family.
