Violet Virginia Fair Ferguson, 90, of Washington Court House, Ohio died Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 9:38 a.m. at her home.
Violet was born February 6, 1935, Nolan, WV to Jim and Virgil “Virgie” Elkins Fitch. She moved to Washington Court House in 2020, from Lexington, SC.
She had formerly worked as a housekeeper at the hospital in Troy, Ohio.
Violet enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Homer E. Fair and Bernie “Boat” Ferguson; two children, Deborah Ann Fair and Steven Allen Fair; five brothers and two sisters.
Violet is survived by a daughter, Kay E. Fair of St. John, Florida, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and a sister, Sylvia Miller of Kentucky.
In accordance with her wishes, her body will be cremated. There will be no visitation or service. Burial of the cremains will be at a later date in the cemetery in Troy, Ohio.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House.
