Randy Lee Zink, 67, of Newport, Ohio in Madison County, died Monday, October 27, 2025, at 10:15 a.m. at his residence. He had been in failing health.
Randy was born April 27, 1958, in Columbus, Ohio to Herbert Carl and Betty Jean Argabright Zink. He was a 1977 graduate of Marion-Franklin High School in Columbus and lived most of his life in Columbus before moving to Newport.
He was a 31-year employee of United Parcel Service before his retirement in 2008.
Randy enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Larry Zink.
Randy is survived by his wife, the former Marilyn D. Dill whom he married February 9, 1996; three children, Lindsey Lyon and her husband, Dakota, of Washington Court House, Ryan Kimbler and his wife, Chantana, of London and Matthew Kimbler and his wife, Allison, of Hamstead, NC; seven grandchildren, Cash and Ripp Lyon, Keira, Kali, Madison, Harrison and Carson Kimbler and baby girl Lyon to be born in November; a sister, Cindy Fox and her husband, Doug, of Lancaster, Ohio and a sister-in-law, Pam Zink of Columbus.
To honor his wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no service.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House.
