Tonda K. Rogers, 58, of Bloomingburg, Ohio died Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 8:53 a.m. at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe where she had been admitted the previous day.
Tonda was born June 26, 1967, in Washington Court House, Ohio to Thomas Clay and Susan Stone Rogers. She was a 1985 graduate of Washington High School and lived most of her life in this community.
She was an avid Elvis Presley fan and enjoyed collecting Elvis memorabilia. She also enjoyed collecting miniature shoes of all types and watching scary movies.
Tonda was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Phillip and Everett Arnett.
She is survived by her partner of 38 years, David E. Rutherford; two sons, David Charles Rutherford and Ian McDaniel Rutherford, all of Bloomingburg; a grandson, Maleik Harrison; a brother, Ricky Arnett of Savannah, GA; a sister-in-law, Nit Arnett of Washington Court House; several nieces and nephews; grand nieces and nephews and cousins.
The funeral will be Friday, October 24, 2025, at 1 p.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House. Burial will follow in the New Holland Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House Friday from 12 Noon until the time of the service.
