I’m devastated by this news and wish nothing more than to be able to attend. Although I have moved several hours away from Columbus Ohio, Charles was one of the first co-workers to find me to say hello and ask me about my family when I would conduct site visits. He was a member of leadership who truly cared for his team at DHL and their families. He would hunt you down to share some of his homegrown produce and would always hunt ME down to give me a handful of Hot Wheels to give to my toddler, which he learned very quickly my boy was a fan of due to asking me about my boys. I pray for peace for his family and loved ones, that they would lean upon the only One who can provide comfort through such loss.

      Cheri, Dick, Vicki, and Kim,
Anyone who met or knew Charles, was touched by his humor, generosity, and his love of life and family. I have many fond memories of us growing up and will cherish them always. May you find peace and comfort as you look upon your own memories and hold them deep in your heart. Prayers for you, all.

      Love,
      Dawn (Bernert) Deyo
