Jane Ann Garrison, 77, former longtime New Holland resident. died Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at 3:53 a.m. at Signature HealthCARE of Fayette County where she had been residing since June 17, 2022.

Jane Ann was born June 2, 1946, in Columbus, Ohio to Howard and Elaine McQuay Garrison.  She was a 1964 graduate of Miami Trace High School.

She had formerly assisted with 3 Moms Catering.

Jane Ann was an avid and loyal Miami Trace Panther fan.  She never missed a Miami Trace sporting event from the time she was in high school until her health permitted her from attending.  She had been an active member of the Miami Trace Athletic Boosters and in 1989, was inducted into the Miami Trace Athletic Boosters Hall of Fame.  She was also a member of the New Holland Methodist Church.

She loved cats and her many feline friends throughout the years provided her with much comfort and companionship.

Jane Ann, who was an only child and never married, was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by a cousin, Greg Miller of Washington Court House; her many Miami Trace, New Holland and church friends, and her Kirkpatrick “cousins” whom she considered her family.

The funeral will be Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at 1 p.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in New Holland with the Rev. Linda Crew, pastor at the New Holland Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the New Holland Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 12 Noon until the time of the service.
