RONALD MATTHEW “DUBBY” FANNON

 Ronald Matthew “Dubby” Fannon, 66, of Bloomingburg, Ohio died Thursday, June 21, 2018, at his home.

Dubby was born January 20, 1952, in Dayton, Ohio to Charles Franklin and Mabel Julia Ashmore Fannon.  He was a graduate of West High School in Columbus and attended The Ohio State University.  He had been living in this community since 1991.

He was supervisor of the water plant for the City of Washington Court House for 22 years before his retirement on March 31, 2017.

Dubby had been a member of the Pleasantview Baptist Church in Grove City, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his father on June 21, 1983; by a brother and sister-in-law, Charles F. and Sandra Fannon, Jr. and a brother-in-law, Pastor Albert S. (Buddy) Manson.

Ronald, who was never married, is survived by his mother, Mabel Fannon of Bloomingburg; a brother and sister-in-law, John W. and JoAnn Fannon of London; three sisters, Judith Taniguchi and her husband, Ken, of Westerville, Mary Manson of Grove City and Betty Fannon of Bloomingburg and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at 1 p.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House. Burial will follow in Bloomingburg Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. Tuesday until time of the service.
