Robert Layton Briggs, 52, of Washington Court House, Ohio died Sunday, April 11, 2021, at his home.
Bobby was born August 27, 1968, in Washington Court House, Ohio to Billy Joe and Elizabeth Ann Smith Briggs. He was a 1986 graduate of Miami Trace High School and was a lifelong resident of Fayette County.
He worked for Ryder Truck in Groveport and was a veteran of the U. S. Army.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by a daughter, Rachael Briggs; five grandchildren, Adalynn, Layton, Natalee, Kaizleigh and Lavaeh; a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph (Joey) and Debra Briggs; special friend, Rebecca Sheets and several cousins.
Cremation will take place and a graveside service will be held at a later date in the New Holland Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in New Holland.
