Naomi Ruth Miller, 63, of Washington Court House, died Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at 6:13 a.m. shortly after admission to Fayette County Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 26, 1954, in Washington Court House, Ohio to Charles and Garnet Roberts Cottrell and lived her entire life in this community where she was formerly a nurse’s aide.
Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Miller on August 5, 2003, and a special sister-in-law, Christine Garinger.
She is survived by two daughters, Garnet Miller Tripp of Washington Court House and Peggy Chaffin of Portsmouth, Ohio; a stepson, Ralph Miller, Jr.; eight grandchildren, whom she loved dearly, Preston, Breanna, Catherine, Sierra and Shyanne Chaffin, Amber Morris and her husband, Scott, Brandon Miller and Jayde Miller; two brothers, Gary (Denise) Cottrell of Florida and Douglas Cottrell of Washington Court House; two sisters, Pamela Bunch of Washington Court House and Debra (Bill Simmons) Cottrell of Hillsboro and several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Ashley Woolums.
The funeral will be Thursday, April 5, 2018, at 7 p.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House. Cremation will follow the service and burial of the cremains will be at a later date in Washington Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 5-7 p.m.
