Nancy Jean (Elliott) Frederick, 79, of Washington Court House, Ohio, died Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at 2:50 p.m. at St. Catherine’s Manor of Washington Court House where she had been a resident since January 5, 2016.
Mrs. Frederick was born December 14, 1938, in Pickaway County, Ohio to Jimmy and Marvine Puckett Elliott. She lived most of her life in this community.
She formerly was an aide at the Orient State Institute and Carlton Manor and had worked in advertising at WCHO radio.
Mrs. Frederick was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Crystal Frederick; a son, Marvin R. Frederick, Jr.; great grandchildren, Brenton Pagett and Jeslyn Ames; brother, Jimmy Elliott; sister, Judy Brown; a step-son, Mike Ellars; daughter-in-law, Rachel Bott and sons-in-law, Leroy Picklesimer and Robbie Vorhees.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin Ray Frederick whom she married April 11, 1963; children, Leah (Will McFadden) McDaniel, Jerry Bott, Lisa (Anthony Ervin) Vorhees, Brenda (Doug Phillips) White, Melissa (Herman) Miller, Raye (Philly Koch) Frederick, Jimmy (Becky) Frederick, 16 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank St. Catherine’s Manor and Heartland Hospice for the wonderful care they have given our mother during the last two years and three months.
A graveside service will be held Friday, April 6, 2018, at 2 p.m. at the Highlawn Cemetery with Esto Haithcock, Jr. officiating. Burial will be under the direction of the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House.
