Marvin Ray Frederick, 84, of Washington Court House, Ohio died Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at 12:41 a.m. at Edgewood Manor of Lucasville, where he had been residing since April 26, 2019.
Mr. Frederick was born March 3, 1937, in Fayette County, Ohio to Miles and Irene Forsha Frederick.
He had lived most of his life in this community where he owned and operated a wrecker and auto service.
On April 11, 1963, he married the former Nancy Jean Elliott. She preceded him in death on April 3, 2018. He also was preceded in death his by an infant daughter, Crystal Frederick in 1965; two sons, Marvin R. Frederick, Jr. in 1996, and Mike Ellars in 1999; three brothers, Billy, Earl and Charles Frederick and two sisters, Katherine Higman and Betty Taylor.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Tammy Wilson, and Jimmy David and Becky Frederick; a daughter, Raye J. Frederick; several grandchildren, and great grandchildren and two sisters, Doris Jackson and Cindy Bain.
A graveside service will be held Friday, June 11, 2021, at 2 p.m. at the Highlawn Cemetery. Burial will be under the direction the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House.
There will be no calling hours.

It is nice to know that Mr. Fredrick was blessed with long life, but even with all those years I know they weren’t enough for those who held him so dear to their hearts.
