Marjorie Ann Rutherford Younker, 68, of Chillicothe, Ohio died Sunday, June 28, 2020, at 1:30 p.m. at Signature HealthCARE of Chillicothe where she had been residing since September 25, 2019.
Marjorie was born January 29, 1952, in Greenfield, Ohio to Lawrence Asa and Lema Maude Carpenter Elkins. She was a 1972 graduate of Miami Trace High School and lived most of her life in Pickaway, Fayette and Highland Counties.
Before her retirement, she had been an aide at the Columbus Developmental Center for 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Younker in 2015. Her first husband, Roger Leon Rutherford, preceded her in death in 1991. She was also preceded by three brothers, Lawrence, Jack and Ralph Elkins and a sister, Pauline Freeman.
Marjorie is survived by two sons, Michael Rutherford of Grove City and Roger A. Rutherford and his wife, Cassie, of Kingston; three grandchildren, Victoria, Mackayla and Caitlin Rutherford and a brother, Robert Elkins of Hillsboro.
Cremation will take place.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in the New Holland Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in New Holland.
