GERALDINE ROSE (JERI) WILLIAMS

Geraldine Rose (Jeri) Williams, 89, of Washington Court House, Ohio died Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at 9:29 a.m. at Court House Manor where she had been residing since August 6, 2019.

Mrs. Williams was born November 4, 1931, in Galena, Ohio to Howard and Mildred Rose Shoaf.  She was a 1948 graduate of Westerville High School and received an associate’s degree in interior design from Chamberlain College in Boston.  She moved to Washington Court House in 1978, from Elyria.

On November 11, 1951, she married Edwin Paul Williams.  He preceded her in death on October 11, 2018.  She was also preceded by a sister-in-law, Ruth Martinelli.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Laurie Jill and Scott Hartman of Miramar Beach, FL, three granddaughters and their spouses, Cristin and Mark DeVries, Caree and Adam Dey and Tricia and Dewey Landis; four great grandchildren and a brother-in-law, Fred Martinelli of Ashland, Ohio.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation took place.  A family memorial service will take place at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House.
