Delmer Lowe, 77, of Washington Court House, Ohio died Thursday, March 15, 2018, at 5:32 p.m. at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. He had been in failing health.
Mr. Lowe was born August 12, 1940, in Morehead, Kentucky to John E. and Leona Olive Caudill Lowe. He lived most of his life in this community where he was a retired farm laborer.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Lowe in 1971.
Mr. Lowe is survived by his wife, the former Carol Maxine Detty whom he married May 28, 1960; a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Kay and Larry Coder of Englewood, Florida; two grandchildren, Luke Keplinger and his wife, Heather, of London, Ohio and Dixie Coder of Florida; three great grandchildren, James and Addie Keplinger and Constantine Conner Coder; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Clayton and Wilma Lowe of Bookwalter and Donald and Jeanie Lowe of Washington Court House; a sister and brother-in-law, Norma Jean and David Hall of New Holland and a sister-in-law, Sue Ellen Lowe of Washington Court House.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 17, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at the Highlawn Cemetery with Sister Lula Rhoades officiating. Burial will be under the direction of the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House.
There will be no calling hours.
