Beverly Bell Hamilton, 84, of Washington Court House, Ohio died Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at 12:45 p.m. at St. Catherine’s Manor of Washington Court House where she had been residing since July 24, 2015.
Bev was born September 21, 1932, in Washington Court House, Ohio to Roy Glendon and Wanda Mae Spencer Bell. She was a 1950 graduate of Washington High School and a lifelong resident of this community.
Before her retirement she was a bookkeeper at Bell’s Shell Service Station.
She was a member of the Washington Club and the Grace United Methodist Church.
Bev was preceded in death by four brothers, Joe, Billy, Danny and Kerry (Termite) Bell and a sister, Roiann Dawes.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, David and Kim Hamilton; two grandsons, Brett Hamilton and Tony Hamilton and his wife, Staci; two great grandchildren, Lilly and Jack Hamilton; a brother, Dale Bell, all of Washington Court House and a sister, Judy Smith of Greenfield.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation took place.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in Washington Cemetery with Mell Wickensimer, director of visitation at the Grace United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be under the direction of the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House.
There will be no calling hours.
